Jael Chen is a Shanghai-based e-commerce student who builds small AI tools that real people actually pay for.

Introduction
I'm Jael, an e-commerce student at Shanghai Polytechnic University, class of 2027. I build small tools with Claude Code and Codex, sell them, and handle the support myself.
I work best with founders and small teams who have a repetitive process, a rough idea, and no time to turn either into something that runs on its own.

Where I can help
Find the repetitive slice of a job, map the process, then replace the rule-based steps with a script that runs every day. Proven on my own desk first, then handed to the team.
Shrink the idea to the smallest version a stranger can try, then let real usage and feedback decide what comes next. Every iteration gets a reason.
From a store's daily routine to public notes about the work. I watch what breaks in execution and adjust with data and feedback rather than opinion.
Beyond building: pricing, selling, delivering and supporting. Getting the product into a user's hands and keeping it working once it is there.

”A hundred strangers paid for something I built, then came back with questions. Answering them taught me more about product than any course did.”
”Five months inside a real business at Baozun. The scripts I left behind are still running, which is the only review I need.”
”Top 6% of my programme while shipping on the side. Grades were never the goal, but they show I can keep two things moving at once.”
”Four months on exchange at the University of Ruse, Bulgaria. Going somewhere unfamiliar is still the fastest way I know to get new input.”
