Project Description
Every morning from nine to twelve went to the same loop: pull numbers, write the daily report, adjust prices, submit promotions. Necessary, and none of it needed judgement.
I built a set of scripts with Claude Code and Codex that replaced the rule-based steps and left the decisions to a person. They ran for real every day of the internship, not as a one-off demo, and were handed to the team when I left.

What I learned
Writing the script was the easy part. Spotting which steps deserved to be replaced was the job.
The freed time went to the work that actually needed a human, which is the only reason anyone cared.
